Dark . . . you've been warned
Lex Luthor’s been prey to his heart his entire life. It has misled him more than it has ever led him. From the wisdom of rationality and normalcy to the dark crevices of impossibility and intangibility. His life was filled with regrets and remorse and promises to be wiser the next time but next time would always come and mistakes would be repeated even as his heart became harder and more impenetrable. He blamed anything and everything but his heart. He never faulted his heart for his bad choices. He’d spent his entire life just trying to teach it to beat. It was a rusty lock he’d pried open, uncaring about what it was he was releasing on the other side. The door to his heart had swung free and unlike others, he was learning to close it, learning to shut people out. He knew this was following in the footsteps of his father but even he had to admit that some doors may be better left closed.
